Friday-Sunday, December 29-31, 2017, Happy New Year
We are on our last day of a three-sea-days' leg (no port calls) heading to Cabo San
Lucas. We will arrive 7 AM tomorrow, New Years Day. Since there
will be three cruise ships with no cruise ship dock, we will have to tender in,
about 25 minutes each way.
We are scheduled to go
on a noon shore excursion to San Jose del Cabo, about a half hour bus ride east
of Cabo. This was one of our favorite quaint villages to visit when we
were doing our Baja RV tours. We will pass by the RV park we used to stay
at while we travel to SJdC tomorrow.
Tomorrow's visit to
Cabo area will close out the Latin America portion of our world cruise.
Although we saw interesting places, had fun on zip lines and bob sled, enjoyed
the Panama Canal again, we are glad to be on our way. Most of Central
America remains very poor with living conditions being on the edge of
primitive. We should all take a moment to thank God for our abundant
living conditions in the Good Ol' USA! as screwed up as it may seem to be.
We just wish most Americans had to live in these poor areas for about 30 days
then come back to appreciate what we have.
We hope and pray you
will have a happy and safe celebration bringing in the new year and that 2018
will be fun and prosperous for you.
